Cerebellar Ataxia

Every step should not be a struggle

Research is the path to a cure

Support Cerebellar Ataxia Research

Behind every diagnosis of cerebellar ataxia is a person and their family adapting to life on new terms. A life where every step and each word can become a challenge.

For those living with the condition, there are no easy answers. Research remains the only path to a cure.

The Cerebellum and Neurodegeneration Group undertakes vital research to understand cerebellar ataxia and contribute to the development of new treatments. Their work coordinating the Australian Cerebellar Ataxia Registry (CARe) connects those impacted by cerebellar ataxia with opportunities to participate in research.

Your donation helps The Cerebellum and Neurodegeneration Research Group continue its globally recognised and scientifically impactful research of cerebellar ataxia in Australia. Every contribution supports deeper understanding and meaningful progress in ataxia research.

Thank you to our loyal donors, who continue to make this research possible.
